HHO Install Troubleshooting
Most common HHO install problems.
1) Most customers do not bother to read the install instructions. A lot of HHO
installer are really innovative and think their way is better. Please follow our
instructions to a "T". We have reasons for every step.
2) Make sure your water tank BLACK cap is securely fastened. Do not over
tighten it to strip the threads! But snug. Get the inside gasket wet, it helps with
the seal.
3) Customers do NOT put the out gas hose to the air filter box, the route it
to the fuel rail or a ECV fitting or other port. We must have our Hydroxy Gas
mix with the incoming air as it masses together with oxygen, nitrogen and hydrogen. The ortho spin state of our Hydroxy Gas is different than other HHO cells. Our PWM's and cell designs allow this magic Brown's Gas or HYdroxy Gas to statically cling to O, H and N. We even put the out gas hose before the turbo in diesel installs.
4) Another mistake is that HHO installer will GRD. the CELL - terminal. You might
do this with a direct DC connection, but not out PWM. YOU MUST only connect
the PWM - Cell - wire to the Cell - terminal!!
5) Many encounter a bad or weak GRD connection to the PWM. We ask you to run the PWM GRD wire to the Battery - terminal. We pulse 90% of the current on the negative side, so an excellent full voltage connection is necessary. Do a test after your install, to see if the voltage is the same at your battery terminals and at your cell block terminals.
6) The cell leaks. If you take apart any CVHHO cell block or the Ice Block Cell it
will more likely leak. Please leave the cell alone, just use as is and it will last 25 years to come! No joke, these low voltage cells will not erode the electrodes, they will just better and better as time goes by.
7) S7 and D7 and HG 9x16 cells (2020) are seeing the double gas output, where cell efficiency doubles, after the gold grows on the H(-) side of the plates. Listen to the bubble rate in the water tank. If the bubbles start to increase like crazy, turn down the duty cycle% ( amps) Less hydroxy gas is better than too much, we only want to enhance the combustion, NOT fight it and a need to change engine timing.
8) If your tank water is yellow or green or brown, flush out and start with a new batch of Water and NaOH at 10% solution. Yellow water is chromium oxides and will prohibit the ortho spin state, in which is way more reactive and more powerful form of HHO gas, all from water. Customers who flush out with a new batch of water, always say, wow the HP came back! Once the water stays clear after a few clean outs, it should stay clear the rest of the life of the cell.
